Fabulous Foxie- Colored Pencil on Paper by T. Rutter
Poor, sweet Foxie was used as a breeder for a biomedical research lab. There she had at least 4 babies which were all taken away from her. Thankfully, after many years in a terrible cage, she was rescued and retired along with 6 other chimps to the wonderful care of Chimp Sanctuary North West- where she has huge spaces to play, friends to hug, sunlight and our door areas. Foxie developed a strong love of dolls, while in the sanctuary, which she carries around like the babies she never got to hold. Her many fans around the world, have sent her hundreds of dolls!
