Best friends Faa Mai and Pornawan- were introduced when poor Pornsawan was a logging elephant who stepped on a land mine! She very nearly died, but fortunately was rescued and retired to an elephant sanctuary in Thailand, where she met little Faa Mai- Elephants help other elephants bond and heal and these two are still going strong.
